Black History Month Giveaway!

Hello, friends! I have been thinking about my blog and my store for a few weeks now. This little space of the cyberworld has become something very precious to me! Life gets hectic but this place has been a wonderful creative outlet for me. I took January off this year and I am so eager to jump back in with both feet this February. So to do this, I have decided to share something with my friends! How about a GIVEAWAY?! ;)  I have created two ways to enter to win!

1) I have created a Facebook post for a giveaway on my page. All you have to do is share the post and list your email underneath in the comments. This can be done daily! Click here to head over and enter on Facebook!

2) You can also earn an entry for pinning the pic below! After pinning, just comment below with your pin link and your email! This can also be done daily! I will also allow you to earn entries by posting it on different boards (1 entry for every board you pin it to!) Just make sure you list the pin id below in the comments.

But what will I win Leah? I am so glad you asked!

Both of these methods earn entries for winning one of my best sellers: The History Makers package for Black History month!

This pack would be easily integrated into your classroom instruction. It includes posters, activities and resources from which to teach and covers the following black history leaders: Ruby Bridges, Thurgood Marshall, George Washington Carver, Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson and Rosa Parks!

Here are a few comments from some who have already purchased the pack:

Thanks so much for these terrific activities for Black History Month. I can hardly wait to use them with my first graders!

Fantastic resource! It made our unit more meaningful. I especially loved the Rosa Parks writing activity.

My students really got into learning about all of these individuals! Great unit!

My students had so much fun with this! So great! Thank you!

These comments made my day! It was truly so much fun to make this pack and it encourages me greatly when I see teachers using it successfully in their classrooms!

This contest only runs through 12 pm on February 5th so share away!! Pin away!! I would love to send you a free copy! But don't forget to comment below as well as comment below the Facebook post as this earns you entries daily! Good luck!

Space: The Final Frontier

Hi, friends! I wanted to share with you my latest projects! I found the cutest space clipart and it inspired me to begin working on a Final Frontier pack for you to use in your classroom. Here is what I have completed so far but I am working to finish complete sets as soon as I am back from my trip!

I can't wait to share some of the great ideas that I learn at the conference! I hope you enjoy looking at the new set! There will be more to come.

Throw Back Thursday Teacher Style!

Welcome back to another #TBTTS! Throw Back Thursday Teacher Style!

As I explained in my first #TBTTS post, I am sharing with you resources that aren't new but have definitely gotten a fun facelift! Today,  I am going to share a freebie that I created to help students reflect as they read. It has activities that focus on before, during, and after reading skills like visualizing, vocabulary, summarizing, and opinion. I offer two versions in this freebie, one for picture books and one for chapter books. I hope this helps you students to not only read, but think WHILE they read.

As always, feel free to pin for later and click on the picture to download your FREE version!
